Dearest friends,

it’s four weeks now since the end of this Rotarian experience of friendship and solidarity, that thanks to your participation and enthusiasm made us live unforgettable days in Salerno, days that will stay among my dearest memories.

I wish to thank the winners, who gave proof of their tenacity, technique and fair play, and - with special affection - also those who, regardless their own technical limits, never hesitated to bring themselves into play to contribute building a project made of friendship and solidarity.

Many ideas and proposals have come out to create more thrilling initiatives of Rotarian tennis, and I thank you for that. ITFR is the main mean to build new chances to meet and play tennis.

We are making the statement of accounts of all the activities run during the Championship, but I can already announce that the fund raising for the Africa Project, thanks to the generosity of the sponsors and of the participants, amounts more than € 25.000,00!

I hope that the unavoidable organisational troubles were understood and forgiven.

If you visit the official web site you can already find many pictures of many moments spent together and I hope that you will kindly send me more special memories of  a week spent sharing Rotary spirit … because Rotary shares!
