Italy - Campania Region

PASSPORT: valid at least for 6 months after the date of arrival in Italy for non EU travellers.

VISA: tourist visa is available also on arrival in Italy and is valid for two months. Travellers using non scheduled flights must obtain a visa before their arrival in Italy. Business visa has to be required in Italy and is valid for 4 months.

CURRENCY: no formalities to change foreign currency. Credit cards are generally accepted. ATM are present everywhere all over the region.

RULES FOR TRAFFIC REGULATION: according to the rules for security and traffic regulation valid in Campania and in the rest of Italy, foreigners willing to drive a car must have an international driving license. Those willing to drive motorbikes must have an international driving license valid also for motorbikes. The use of the helmet is complusory on motorbikes both for the driver and for the passenger. Wearing seat belts is compulsory for all car passengers.

MOBILE PHONES: all the Italian mobile telephone companies serve the whole region. International roaming is provided to all the foreign mobile telephone companies.

INTERNET: the region is being digitally cabled. ADSL fast Internet is active the heads of the provinces. Hotels have selected lines for fast connection. No restrictions for Internet surfing and for e-commerce.
