I wish to give warm and heartfelt regards to all the participants from me and from the Italian National Olympic Committee.

Surely this important event will bring further prestige to a country which is already rich in tradition, natural and artistic beauty, contributing to the promotion and the spread of sport and of its fundamental values.

Finally I wish to congratulate the ITFR (International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians), the  Rotary Club Salerno Onlus, as organizer of the event, the Italian Tennis Federation and its local Committee, for the sensitivity and the commitment they show toward the cause of sport and solidarity.
